Dave Samson brings an ability to motivate as well as practical knowledge of development to his role as Chief Development Officer.  At Rainbow Hospice & Palliative Care, he has initiated a planned giving society, enhanced the annual fund and helped increase the level of giving each year for the past 10 years. 

Dave earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and prior to joining Rainbow Hospice, he served in fundraising positions at a variety of Chicago area organizations, including St. Patrick’s High School and Notre Dame High School. 

In addtion to his work at Rainbow Hospice, Dave is also Board member for Terra Nova Films, the Lutheran General Hospital Men & Women’s Association, Park Ridge Kiwanis Noon Club and the John P. Loftus Scholarship Fund.
