Karen comes to Rainbow from Hospice of Northeastern Illinois (HNI), where she has been their Director of Clinical Operations since 2006.  Before that, she was the manager of surgical services at Elmhurst Hospital and also the manager of the CCU at Lutheran General Hospital

Karen earned her nursing credentials at DePaul University and she has an MBA from Dominican University.  She maintains several professional affiliations including active participation in the American and Illinois Organization of Nurse Executives ... and she is a Rotarian!  Through Rotary, Karen has engaged in two medical mission trips to Guatemala in South America and Niger, Africa.
