Interfaith Memorial Service is a prayer service for family and friends whose loved ones were served by

Rainbow Hospice and/or who participate in our Grief Groups.  All community bereaved who wish to remember their loved ones are welcome.  Registration requested.

Thursdays, July 8 thru August 5;

6:30 – 8:30 pm

Music Imagery is a five session therapy group for those who have been grieving the loss of a loved one for six months or longer.  Participants will experience music and imagery in innovative ways which can provide untapped levels of support, expression, healing, and transformation for one’s grief journey.  Due to the therapeutic nature of this experience, all participants are required to meet individually with the facilitator prior to the start of the group.  Space is limited.  Registration required.  Fee:  $75.00 for 5 sessions.

Saturday, August 7;

10:00 am - 12:00 noon

Labyrinth Path through Grief Workshop.  By mindfully walking the labyrinth, participants will connect with this ancient symbol of wholeness.  It provides a transformative journey to one’s own center and back out into the world.  The labyrinth is a mirror of our grief journey where the way in is the way out.  

Space is limited.  Registration required.   Fee:  $15.00

Sibling Loss

Adult Loss of Sibling is a six-week group for adults grieving the loss of a sibling.  Registration required.

LGBTQ Grief Group is an ongoing support group designed to help grieving members of the lesbian, gay,

bisexual, transgender, and questioning communities to find support and information as they mourn someone they love.   Second and Fourth Mondays of the month.   Registration required.  Fee:  $5.00 per session.

Spousal Loss

Holding Onto Hope is a monthly day-time group for widowed persons who are grieving the loss of a spouse. 

Fourth Wednesday of the month.  Registration required.  Fee:  $5.00 per session.

Tuesdays, July 13 & 27, August 10 & 24, September 14 & 28;

Widowed Support Group is an ongoing support group that addresses the losses faced by persons, as a general guideline, who have been widowed less than two years.  Second and Fourth Tuesday of the month.

Fee:  $5.00 per session.

Life Transitions Group is an ongoing support group for those who, as a general guideline, have been widowed

for one to four years.  Fourth Tuesday of the month.  Volunteer facilitated.  Fee:  $5.00 per session.

Children’s Program

Good Mourning Program is a monthly support group for children, teens, young adults and families (including a Spanish speaking adult group) who have lost a loved one through death. 

Preliminary interview required prior to registration. Third Monday of the month.
