One-to-one counseling offers an ongoing therapeutic relationship that empowers a person to make positive changes in his/her situation. It offers vital support to those coping with the effects of life-limiting illness, death and grief. Counseling provides:

• Guidance and support while adjusting to the impact caused by life-limiting illness, death and loss
• Time to explore individual grief issues and express feelings in a safe, compassionate environment
• Sessions designed to meet specific needs or situations, whether it is individual, couple or family counseling
• Companionship and empowerment on the grief journey

Fees are collected through Medicare, insurance companies and private pay. The fee for the first six sessions is waived for loved ones of Rainbow Hospice patients.
