Good Mourning Counselor
Description: To plan and provide bereavement services to children and their families in accordance with Good Mourning and Rainbow Hospice program standards. To provide information and resource consultation to professional and community individuals/groups and to assist in administrative functions of the Good Mourning program. Master’s degree in social work, education or other human service-related field, from an accredited program required. Will also consider those eligible for licensure in Illinois as a clinical mental health professional, LCSW, LCPC, LMFT. More than one year experience in the field preferred.

Description: Under the direction of an RN, provides skilled nursing care in compliance with Federal and State requirements, the Illinois State Nurse Practice Act and RHI policy and procedure. Currently licensed as an LPN through the Illinois State Board of Nursing. One year of general nursing experience with hospice, med-surg, oncology, or community health care required. Good oral and written communication skills. Maintains auto insurance and valid driver’s license in accordance with agency standards. Possesses and maintains current CPR certification. Description: The Community Relations Coordinator develops and initiates an agency community relations plan which increases outreach efforts and community involvement in key market areas as determined by the strategic marketing plan, and to effectively communicate the Rainbow Hospice mission to the public. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing or a health care related field is required. Excellent oral and written communications skills are a must. Hospice Chaplain
Description: The Hospice Chaplain provides spiritual care services to patients/families/caregivers and staff of Rainbow Hospice, Inc. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited seminary or school of theology (B.D., M.Div. or equivalent theological degree). Certification by the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, Association of Professional Chaplains, National Association of Catholic Chaplains, or similar professional organization and at least one year health care chaplaincy experienced required. Experience in end of life care preferred. Candidates must feel comfortable in an interfaith setting. Good oral and written communication skills are a must.
