Hospice spiritual caregivers experience blessing and bane of being among the last of the "generalists" in their field. The spirituality of patients, family, and staff impacts every dimension of hospice and bereavement care. Therefore, the spiritual caregiver is given the opportunity to be widely read. In addition, the spiritual caregiver may choose to pursue a specific focus in greater depth, depending upon the patient population served, the needs of the agency, and the interest and spiritual tradition of the caregiver.

Following below is a brief hospice spiritual caregiver’s bibliography, organized by areas of interest/concentration.
